Stepping Into My Wellness Era
In 2024, I wanted more—more life, more fun, more experiences, more opportunities. And while last year was the hardest year I’ve faced, it was also the most rewarding. I saw my hard work pay off in ways I never imagined. But now, in 2025, I’m shifting gears.
This year is all about alignment and intentional care. My Wellness Era is here, and it’s time to prioritize my health, beauty, and self-care in ways that reflect the inner growth I’ve nurtured. With February in full swing and love in the air, I’m taking a different approach to the season of love—by falling for myself again. Self-love isn’t just a buzzword; it’s the foundation for everything. I spent so much time focusing on everything and everyone else that I neglected myself. That ends now. This is my season to thrive, shine, and truly live inside and out.
"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." – Proverbs 31:25
Why Quarterly Themes?
Instead of setting vague resolutions, I’m breaking my year into intentional themes. Each quarter has a specific focus that helps me deepen my growth while staying present in the moment. These themes allow me to move with purpose and embrace each season of my life fully.
Q1: Foundation & Clarity
Before anything flourishes, it needs a solid foundation. This quarter is about setting the groundwork for everything I want to build. It’s a season of slowing down, reassessing what truly matters, and creating sustainable habits that will carry me through the year. I want to gain clarity on my spiritual journey, build consistent routines, and cultivate a sense of stability in my daily life.
One key goal: Establish a structured morning routine that includes devotionals, affirmations, and self-care.
Q2: Growth & Momentum
With the foundation set, it’s time to expand. This quarter is all about strengthening the habits I’ve built, pushing myself beyond my comfort zone, and embracing opportunities for growth. Whether it’s trying a new hobby, refining my style, or prioritizing my health, this season is about showing up for myself in bigger and bolder ways.
One key goal: Commit to exercising three times a week and learning a new skill.
Q3: Refinement & Expansion
By this time, I’ll have a rhythm going, and this quarter is about fine-tuning what’s working and eliminating what’s not. It’s about making small, intentional upgrades—whether in my self-care, my style, my fitness, or my personal relationships. I’ll take inventory of how I feel and make adjustments to ensure I’m living in full alignment with my values and goals.
One key goal: Take a solo day trip or retreat for self-reflection.
Q4: Celebration & Mastery
The final stretch is all about recognizing my growth and honoring the work I’ve put in. It’s a season of reflection, gratitude, and celebration. I want to enter the new year feeling proud of myself, with a renewed sense of confidence and purpose. This is where I solidify my transformation and step fully into the version of myself I’ve been working towards all year.
One key goal: Host a gratitude dinner or gathering to celebrate my journey with loved ones.
Closing Thoughts
I spent too long losing myself in the hustle, the responsibilities, and the expectations of others. This year, I’m showing up for myself, and I’m doing it with intention. I’m stepping into my Wellness Era, taking care of myself the way I should have all along. This is my time to thrive, to love myself deeply, and to walk in alignment with the best version of me.
And since we’re in the season of love, let this be a reminder that love starts within. Whether you’re spending this time with a partner, friends, or solo with your favorite dessert and a good playlist, don’t forget to celebrate the love you have for yourself. Because the most important relationship you’ll ever have is the one with you.
Here’s to 2025—the year of showing up, glowing up, and fully embracing the life I deserve.
